Information for Duke Summer Session for High School Students’ 2019 programs is now available! Choose from three transformative programs next summer:
1. Summer College – A four-week, credit-bearing program for students currently in 10th– 12th grade in which they take undergraduate-level courses.
2. Summer Academy – A three-week program for students currently in 9th – 12th grade in which they take a certificate course.
3. Accelerated STEM Academy – A one-week, STEM-based program for students currently in 9th – 12th grade that consists of a variety of hands-on labs, tours of Duke’s research facilities, faculty lectures, and workshops.
Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week - A one week program that provides hands-on opportunity to learn about our free enterprise system. It is availalbe to current sophomores and juniors to learn what it takes to succeed in our fast paced world. Opportunities occur at Lycoming College and PA College of Technology. Applications must be completed. Applications are available in the guidance office and on the website.

Marist - Pre-college program offering students the opportunity to earn 3 credits for a 2 week summer session at their Poughkeepsie NY campus. Indiana University of Pennsylvania - Cook Honors College of IUP hosts a summer Honors Program for rising Jr's and Sr's in order to get a first hand college experience. Intellectually curious students are encouraged to register for this opportunity. Students will be able to study from a variety of disciplines. DeSales University - Summer Video Institute - June 24 - June 29 for ages 13 and up. Students with a graduation date of 2021 or earlier can earn 3 college credits. Application deadline is June 17th. The summer program offers students an introduction to theories and techniques of digital movie making. Students will produce their own films and contribute to a larger scale production. CRIME SCENE CAMP at Cedar Crest College
June 24-26, 2019 8:30 - 4:30 PM
Students will learn all aspects of crime scene investigation from forensic science professionals; they will have the opportunity to learn how to process crime scenes including those with fingerprints, bloodstain patterns, bones, and entomologic evidence.
