Volunteer Opportunities

  • Lehigh Valley Hospital - Opportunities for high school students to volunteer. Contact LVH network at the following web addresses.  Lehigh Valley Hospital volunteer program is a summer only program.  The minimum age for teen volunteers is 16.  Please visit the volunteer website to read about application deadlines and to complete an online application to volunteer.  Applications will start to be accepted in February 2015.

    Any other opportunities i.e. career job shadowing or Health Careers Program, at LVH can be accessed by using the following link.  (The Health Careers Program will not run in the 2014/2015 school year.)

     

    Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley - Youth and adult volunteer opportunities throughout the Lehigh Valley at a number of organizations.  Contact the Center for a listing of volunteer opportunities.

     
    St. Lukes University Health Network - Students considering a Career in Health Care can have the opportunity to volunteer at St. Luke's.  By volunteering, students can:  learn more about healthcare careers, make connections and observe healthcare workers, develop skills in patient interaction, responsibility, communication and customer service and to have an opportunity to explore different healthcare areas.
