    At the regular meeting of the Board of Education, the Board approved the following:

    • Resignation of Stephen Dew as Assistant Wrestling Coach, effective December 4, 2020.
    • Unpaid FMLA childrearing leave of absence extension for Employee #4283, through March 3, 2021.
    • Additions and deletions to the Substitute Listing for the 2020-2021 school year.
    • Revised Master District Volunteer List for the 2020-2021 school year.
    • Unpaid leave of absence extension for Employee #4217, through January 3, 2021.
    • Employee #4665, an unpaid leave of absence beginning November 13, 2020, through January 11, 2021.
    • A half-year sabbatical for Employee #2378, for the purpose of restoration of health, for the second semester of the 2020-2021 school year.
    • Revised listing for Extra-Curricular & Supplemental Positions for the 2020-2021 school year.
    • Katie Trach, Curriculum Supervisor – Elementary Education K-6, effective March 1, 2021, pending receipt of proper documentation. Her salary will be $85,000.00, pro-rated, with benefits, and in accordance with the Act 93 Agreement.
    • Katie Wasilko, Long Term Substitute Social Studies Teacher at the Middle School, effective on or about January 21, 2021, for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. Her salary will be $287.53 per diem, based on a Bachelor’s Degree, Step 1.
    • Kayla Turner, Long Term Substitute Grade 1 Elementary Teacher at Moore Elementary School, effective January 6, 2021, for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. Her salary will be $287.53 per diem, based on a Bachelor’s Degree, Step 1.
    • Contract for Mr. Wilfred Williams as the Northampton Area School District Chief of School Police at an initial salary of $62,300.00 for a term beginning July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2023, subject to the terms and conditions contained there.
    • Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Memorandum of Agreement with the Northampton Area ESPA and the Northampton Area School District effective July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2023.
    • Jolene Makovsky, TPE Special Education Learning Support Teacher at the Middle School, effective on or before January 16, 2021. Her salary will be $54,055.00, pro-rated with benefits, based on a Bachelor’s Degree and Step 1, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between NASD and NAEA.
    • Chelsea Vermeulen, Long Term Substitute Mathematics Teacher at the High School, effective December 21, 2020, for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. Her salary will be $287.53 per diem, based on a Bachelor’s Degree, Step 1.
    • Madison Lyle, Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher and Grade 1 Elementary Teacher at Siegfried and Lehigh Elementary Schools, effective January 4, 2021, through the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. Her salary will be $287.53 per diem, based on a Bachelor’s Degree, Step 1.
    • Shey Marth, Long Term Substitute Grade 2 Teacher and Kindergarten Teacher at Siegfried and George Wolf Elementary Schools, effective January 4, 2021, through the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. Her salary will be $287.53 per diem, based on a Bachelor’s Degree, Step 1.
    • Act 93 Administrative Compensation Plan effective July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2023.
    • Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Northampton Area Security Association, as presented, for the term of July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2023.
    • Northampton Area High School 2021-2022 Program of Studies.
    • Treasurer’s Report.
    • Bills for Payment.
    • Revised NASD Phased School Reopening Health and Safety Plan effective August 11, 2020. Since the Plan may be subject to further revision from time to time as required by changing circumstances or Commonwealth Orders and Guidance, the Superintendent of Schools is hereby authorized to implement changes to the Plan as necessary and thereafter submit a revised Plan for review and approval by the School Board. The Plan and changes to the Plan shall be distributed electronically to all School District staff and parents/guardians/students, and posted on the School District Website.
    • Dispose of obsolete technology equipment, parts, and components by sale to Technology Exchange, Newtown, Pennsylvania.
    • Apptegy, Inc., 2201 Brookwood Drive, Suite 115, Little Rock, AR, to provide website and mobile app design and development for a one-time fee of $8,500 and then $21,400 annually for hosting, support, and training.
