    At the regular meeting of the Board of Education, the Board approved the following: 

    • Revised list of Staff transfers.
    • Resignation letter dated March 8, 2021, of Robert J. Steckel, Jr., from the position of Assistant Superintendent effective at the end of the day on May 2, 2021. As permitted under the provisions of his Employment Agreement, the parties have mutually agreed that his written notice of resignation letter be accepted in lieu of the minimum notice requirement of 60 days as set forth in the Agreement.
    • Resignation of Amy Deutsch from the position of Cafeteria Monitor, effective at the end of the day on February 17, 2021.
    • Matthew Sawarynski as Open Records Officer for the Northampton Area School District effective April 1, 2021.
    • Revised Master District Volunteer List for the 2020-2021 school year.
    • Additions and deletions to the Substitute Listing for the 2020-2021 school year.
    • Revised job descriptions for the following positions: Assistant Superintendent and Business Administrator, effective March 22, 2021.
    • Revised Mentor/Inductee List for the 2020-2021 School Year including the mentors and stipend payment for the 2020-2021 school year.
    • Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Northampton Area Maintenance Association, as presented, for the term of July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2023.
    • Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Northampton Area Custodial Association, as presented, for the term of July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2023.
    • Revised listing of Middle School Subject Leaders and Middle School Team Leaders compensations, per the listing, effective for the 2020-2021 school year.
    • First Northern Bank and Trust Company to serve as the District’s institution for banking services commencing July 1, 2021, (accounts may be open prior to July 1, 2021, to begin the transition).
    • Treasurer’s Report
    • Renewal agreement with Aramark Educational Services, LLC to provide food service management for the 2021-2022 school year.
    • Settlement of the real estate tax assessment appeal filed in the Court of Common Pleas of Northampton County at Docket No. C-48-CV-2019-10172 by the Northampton Area School District against Lehigh Valley Industrial Park Lot 5 Owner LLC for Tax Parcel No. Number M5 2 16E 0501 located at 951 Willowbrook Road, Allen Township, Northampton County effective for District tax year beginning July 1, 2020, and pursuant to the attached Settlement Stipulation, and further approve and authorize the School District’s attorney, Raymond P. Wendolowski, Esquire, to execute the attached Settlement Stipulation on behalf of the Northampton Area School District.
    • Settlement of the real estate tax assessment appeal filed in the Court of Common Pleas of Northampton County at Docket No. C-48-CV-2019-10173 by the Northampton Area School District against Lehigh Valley Industrial Park Lot 4 Owner LLC for Tax Parcel No. M5 2 16D 0501 located at 250 Radar Drive, Allen Township, Northampton County effective for School District tax year beginning July 1, 2020, and pursuant to the attached Settlement Stipulation, and further approve and authorize the School District’s attorney, Raymond P. Wendolowski, Esquire, to execute the attached Settlement Stipulation on behalf of the Northampton Area School District.
    • Adopt the 2021-2022 NCC Budget in the amount of $65,166,452 with the District’s portion being $863,223 needed to fund the Budget.
    • Bills for Payment.
    • Creation of the Carol Wunderler Memorial Scholarship Fund to benefit senior track & field scholar athletes.
    • Accept, with appreciation, the donation of children’s clothing from National Giving Alliance (NGA), 822 Veterans Way, Warminster, PA 18974.
