Mrs. Sallit's Biography

  • Greetings Borough Families! It is my pleasure to spend another year at the Borough Schools!!!

My name is Renee Sallit and this is my fourth year here in Northampton! I would love to take a moment to share a bit about myself with you :)! I am the wife of Mr. Sallit, and we are the lucky and busy parents of Xayden (10), Xyler (8), and Xella (5). We are also loving and patient owners of Prince (12 in doggy years). Mr. Sallit is in education as well---2nd grade teacher in the Allentown School District. We keep very busy with our extremely large families, wrestling tournaments, and football games :-). I was born and raised in Allentown, PA. I am an Alumni of Parkland High School, East Stroudsburg University, and Cabrini College. My family and I currently reside in Lower Macungie Township.

Prior to joining the NASD family, I was a teacher/administrator in the Allentown School District, and a teacher in the Northwestern Lehigh School District prior to that My passion for children and education grew exponentially when I was in high school and I had the opportunity to participate in a Child Development Program for 4 years. I have been extremely thankful to have several experiences throughout my career to gain a wide variety of knowledge in order to serve the Borough students!

My goal for the Borough schools is to make an impact on your child by building a culture throughout the building and the community where students feel safe, nurtured, and empowered to be lifelong learners. It is crucial for me to build a relationship and sense of trust with the families of our students in order for us to provide the best opportunity for student achievement.

I am looking forward to another wonderful school year for 2018-2019. Should you ever have any questions and concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I am always here for my staff, students, families, and community members.

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Renee Sallit
