Vocabulary Strategy / for endings
When reading a word you don't know, look at the ending.
If it has an -s or -ed try to use the ending to help figure out the meaning of the word.
The ending -s is added to a noun to make it plural (more than one).
The ending -ed is added to a verb to make it past tense.
