The rules: 4 or below --> Let it Go!
5 or above --> Give it a Shove!
Step 1: Underline the place value to which you are rounding.
Ex: Round to the nearest thousands.

Step 3: If the digit you circled was 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9, increase the underlined digit by one. Change the circled digit and everything to the right to a zero.
In this case, the number 357,892 rounds to 358,000.
