    NAHS Library Online Services

    The following online services are available to all senior high school students and faculty.  These products can be accessed at home or school with a password.  Please see the librarian for password information.

    Follett Destiny– Browse the NAHS Library card catalog, locate print resources available in your library and other district libraries.

    BIG CHALK – Online full text database to over 800 magazines, newspapers, TV, radio, government transcripts, books, maps and photographs.


    GALENET – GALENET includes 4 full text databases with over 1.4 million citations.  Sources include textbooks, magazines, newspapers, biographies, historical overviews and primary source documents.  The databases provided by the service are:

    Student Resource Center Gold – Full text coverage of 1,000+ magazines, newspapers, over 20,000 photographs and illustrations.  Also includes primary documents, essays and critical analysis.

    Biography Resource Center – This database allows you to search for people based on one or more personal facts such as birth and death year, nationality, ethnicity, occupation or gender.

    Literature Resource Center – Covers more than 120,000 authors from every age and literary discipline.  Provides access to biographies, bibliographies, and critical analysis.

    Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center – A one-stop source for information on social issues.  Access viewpoint articles, topic overviews, statistics, primary documents, links to websites, magazine and newspaper articles.


    Student Resource Center / Health Module - A database containing over 1,400 essays on medical and health related topics



    SIRS KNOWLEDGE SOURCE – Updated daily, SKS includes 3 full text databases covering information on social issues, economics, business, politics, global issues, science, health, history, government, arts and humanities.


    C.E.R.F. – Professionally selected websites for all areas of the curriculum.  Search by keyword, sort by title, author or date.  C.E.R.F. has the ability to print bibliographies of the websites in MLA format.


    FACTS.COM –80,000 full text articles dating back to 1980.  Updated weekly.



    Search the Ebsco databases through the POWER LIBRARY, a comprehensive periodical and reference source
