Free Bagged Lunches for All District Students

The Northampton Area School District, in conjunction with Aramark, will make available free bagged lunches to all children in the District through age 18.  Meals will be available Wednesday, March 18, through Friday, March 20, 2020, and Monday, March 23, through Friday, March 27, 2020.  Meals will be available between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon at George Wolf Elementary and Siegfried Elementary Schools.  Parents and students will not enter the buildings; we will have Grab & Go stations at the two locations.

Free bagged lunches will be distributed at George Wolf Elementary School at the gym entrance in the rear of the school.

Free bagged lunches will be distributed at Siegfried Elementary School at the main entrance in the rear of the building next to the District softball field.

We request that when free bagged lunches are picked up for students, you bring your child or children with you.  Students who drive may pick-up their own free bagged lunch, and if they have younger siblings, may bring them along to receive their free bagged lunch.

In accordance with the USDA waiver policy of non-congregate settings, individuals will not be allowed to remain on school property after receiving the bagged meals.

Menus will be posted on the dining services website by noon on Tuesday:           Menus are subject to change without notice.

Again, this service is for all District students.

Thank you for your continued cooperation at this difficult time.

Joseph S. Kovalchik

Superintendent of Schools
