The Director of Technology leads the NASD Technology Services team by planning, organizing, coordinating, and communicating all technology initiatives. Working in collaboration with other divisions, the Director of Technology helps the District to maximize effective and efficient use of technology solutions.

The following staff members support a comprehensive network of computers and peripheral devices.  

The Network Administrator and the Supervisor of Network and AV Systems are charged with the procurement, configuration, deployment and maintenance of network hardware and software. The Network Administrator and Supervisor of Network and AV Systems work together to provide a robust and comprehensive wired and wireless network. They also implement security policies and oversee the day-to-day computer and network operations and maintenance program. Audiovisual and security systems are also important responsibilities for these two staff members.

The Supervisor of Data and Information Services works with our Student Information Systems database and related systems. The Supervisor of Data and Information Services works to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of District information systems. This is achieved by monitoring; maintaining, supporting, and optimizing information systems and databases. The Supervisor of Data and Information Services will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of District data systems.

The PIMS/Child Accounting Coordinator is tasked with student enrollment, accounting, and reporting. Working in collaboration with the ISC the PIMS Coordinator prepares and submit all required state and federal reporting requirements.    

The Supervisor of Technical Support Services is responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support district functions. This is achieved by monitoring; maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all end user workstations, networked equipment, associated operating systems, and directory services.

District Technicians work to ensure computers, computer peripherals, AV systems, and related technologies are functioning at peak performance. They receive work requests via email or a website form. The requests are prioritized and assigned. The NASD technology repair shop conducts repairs down to the component level.  

The Technology Office Assistant assists the Network Administrator, the Director of Technology, the Information Systems Coordinator, PIMS/Child Accounting Coordinator with office tasks such as purchasing, procurement, inventory, shipping, receiving and more. The TOA also acts as a help desk reference for secretarial and professional staff members.
