Northampton senior Noah Walakovits has officially etched his name into school history.
The standout guard became the latest “KonKrete Kid” to surpass 1,000 career points for the Northampton Area High School boys basketball program, reaching the milestone in dramatic fashion during the conference championship game.
Entering the night needing 15 points to hit the mark, Walakovits rose to the occasion. He poured in a game-high 23 points to lead the KonKrete Kids to an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Championship victory. His performance not only secured the title but also cemented his place among the program’s all-time scorers.
With the effort, Walakovits now has 1,008 career points at Northampton.
His scoring résumé, however, extends beyond his time in black and orange. As a freshman at Brandywine High School, he tallied 222 points, bringing his overall high school career total to an impressive 1,230 points.
From milestone moment to championship glory, Walakovits’ achievement reflects both individual excellence and team success — a fitting chapter in Northampton basketball history.
