The boys volleyball team traveled to Blue Rocks Campground this past weekend for a fun and meaningful team-building experience.
“My goal was to get them away from the volleyball court and give them a chance to spend time together with team bonding goals in mind,” said Head Coach Sue Arndt.
The entire trip was kept a surprise until the team arrived at the campsite, where they were then led up to the boulder field. Before the activity began, the players naturally formed smaller groups of four to five teammates.
Each group was given a photo challenge list to complete as they navigated the boulder field. The list included prompts like, capturing moments that represent team culture, helping a teammate, striking a superhero pose, and taking full team photos at both the beginning and end—along with many other creative challenges.
According to Junior Matt Gehringer, "It was a fun experience to bond with the team and become closer as we make a push for the playoffs."
The photos truly reflect the energy, teamwork, and fun the players shared throughout the experience.
