winter dance

Dear Parents / Guardians and Students:

The Middle School will be hosting a Winter Dance on Saturday, February 21, 2026.  The dance will be held in the middle school gym from 6:00-8:00 PM.  The dance is for any current 6th, 7th or 8th grade Middle School or NCA students. Outside guests or students who do not attend the Middle School or NCA are not permitted to attend.

Tickets will be sold for $2 (cash only) in the main office during KTT periods from February 4th - February 20th; Tickets will not be sold at the door. There will also be light refreshments at the dance available for purchase from the PTO (cash, tap or card are accepted). All proceeds will benefit the PTO and Student Activities.

Jeans and sneakers are appropriate attire, this is a casual dance. Students are permitted to wear any outfit they feel comfortable in, including dresses or formal attire, but they must abide by the district dress code. No high heels will be permitted. All outfits must follow the Northampton Area School District Dress Code Policy on page 52-53 of the Handbook. Please review the policy if you have any questions. No bags will be permitted in school the night of the dance. We understand and allow students, especially female students, to bring smaller purses or clutches/wristlet-type bags. However, to ensure the safety and security of the dance, we do not allow bookbags, duffel bags, oversized purses, etc. Students are responsible for any personal belongings they bring with them.

Students may be dropped off at the Natatorium entrance of the Middle School. Doors open at 5:45 pm. Students cannot arrive after 6:30 pm. Students must be picked up at the Bus Loop entrance by 8:00 pm. Students may not leave early from the dance.

Students must follow all school district rules and regulations when attending the dance. The middle school administration has the right to refuse students entrance because of disciplinary issues.

If you have any questions, please contact your grade level Assistant Principal.

Thank you for your attention and cooperation with this matter.

Sincerely,

NAMS Administration
