George Wolf Elementary experienced a power outage due to a situation that occurred outside of the school area that lasted approximately 40 minutes today. The outage impacted some lunches and some grade levels had their choices at lunch affected. All students were able to eat but it just may not have been what they were expecting due to the kitchen not having power.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding regarding this situation.

Food trucks will be located along the bus loop.
Entrance will be at the GYM doors only.

This event begins at 5pm and concludes at 7:30pm.

The weather forecast is questionable for this morning. We are planning to go on with the parade as scheduled, but if it is raining at 10:00, we will delay. As long as we can start the parade by about 10:30, it will go on. If the weather does not allow that, we will have to cancel the outdoor parade.
In the event of the outdoor parade being canceled, students will parade indoors and it will be recorded to share with you. Unfortunately, parents would not be able to attend the indoor parade.

In preparation for tomorrow's Vocab parade, which begins at 10am, I am asking you to review the information below regarding parking.
Feel free to park in any open parking spaces or in the grassy areas that surround the school parking lot.
Please be aware that parking in the grass along Allen Street is permissible, however, parking in the Brooks Furniture truck depot is not allowed nor is turning around in that same lot. Also, please do not park in front of the gate which would not allow truck to enter/exit. We had some issues last year which I would like to avoid this year. I appreciate your cooperation.
